Gmail and PWCS email

The PWCS Department of Information and Instructional Technology are aware of an issue with PWCS emails going to the Gmail spam folder of some stakeholders. PWCS is working with Microsoft on a resolution. In the meantime, parents or other mail recipients can use the following steps to help ensure that important messages from PWCS are received in their inboxes.

Check your SPAM folder regularly.

If you find messages from PWCS in this folder, unmark them as being spam.

  • On your computer, open Gmail.
  • From the menu on the left, click Spam (you may need to click on More in order to see the Spam folder).
  • review the messages found in this folder, if you find messages from PWCS,
  • Open the email.
  • At the top, click the button that says Report not spam.

  • Click on Settings (the gear icon)
  • Click on See all Settings
  • Click on the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab
  • Click on Create a new filter
