PSAT Test- Thursday, October 16
Information for Week of PSAT
The PSAT test is being administered this Thursday, 10/16 during the school day. The following is information on what you should do and what you should bring with you both before and on test day.
The day before the test (Wednesday):
- Students should restart their computers to run any updates and plug it in overnight while on and open so that it is fully charged for the next day.
- If students prefer to use their own calculator rather than the online one provided by College Board, please double check that it is on the approved list and be sure it is fully charged.
On the day of the test (Thursday):
- Be on time to school. The testing process will begin right after morning announcements (7:25 am). Late arrivals will not take the test if their arrival to school is past the time that would allow for them to complete the test within the designated testing window.
- Bring your fully-charged school-issued computer with Bluebook program installed and updates run.
- Bring your computer charging cord
- Bring a nut-free snackand water bottle. Students will store these under their desks and will have an opportunity to eat during the break between the 2 sections of the test. This ensures that if there are unanticipated issues that impact the scheduling, students are able to eat something to hold out until a lunch that is later than what they are used to.
- Pencil(s) for use on scratch paper
- Approved Calculator (if you prefer to use your own instead of the digital one provided by College Board)
One last note: Early dismissals are not permitted during the testing window on that day to prevent disruption to the testing environment.
