Air Force JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps)

The objectives of JROTC are to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship; to promote community service, to instill responsibility, character, and self-discipline; and to provide instruction in air and space fundamentals.
The AFJROTC program is grounded in the Air Force core values of integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. The curriculum emphasizes Air Force heritage and traditions, the development of flight, applied flight sciences, military aerospace policies, and space exploration.

Please note:
The BFHS AFJROTC program is open to students whose base school does not offer JROTC (Patriot High School). These students may apply using the PWCS online specialty program application portal.
Battlefield High School students who are interested in joining AFJROTC should not use the online portal. Instead, they should indicate interest and follow the school-based process for enrollment. Once accepted, all students will be asked to complete a supplemental program agreement.
