College and career counseling is a process designed to help students better know and understand themselves and the world of work in order to make career, educational, and life decisions. This is a lifelong process filled with personal changes, situational changes, and unique experiences.

The goal of career counseling is to empower students to make decisions and share knowledge while highlighting personal skills/talents to help students make future career and life decisions.



Counseling & Student Services Canvas Course

Battlefield students and families, please find all of our college and career planning resources on our Canvas page under BFHS-Counseling and Student Services.

You will find grade level curriculum, career planning investigation resources, college planning tools and workshops, and trades, apprenticeship and military planning! Canvas is your one-stop-shop for all your college and career planning support. Mrs. Kostrzebski, our College and Career Counselor is also available to meet with students.

College & Career Visits

College visits are offered to all students grades 9-12! Students are able to sign up for any college visit through Naviance Student. Colleges have scheduled to speak with BHS students. A virtual link will be provided.

Upcoming college visits are posted on the home page once logged into Naviance Student. Additional visits can be viewed under Colleges / Find My Fit / College Visits.

Please check Naviance Student for updates throughout the year.

Visits are typically held in Lecture Hall 1 (by the auditorium).



Naviance Student

Naviance Student is a free, online resource for all of PWCS high school students. Students can assess their strengths and interests, explore career options, search for colleges, apply for scholarships, sign up for college visits at BHS, create resumes, order transcripts, and much more!

Logging in:Students can log in by clicking "Clever", select BHS, and they will automatically be logged in if on a shchool device or logged into their office 365 account.

Username: PWCS student ID number
Password: student-created password

Are you looking for an enrichment opportunity? Do you want to find something to do over the summer? You can now find information regarding these opportunities in one location! Please visit Naviance Student and click on the "Colleges" tab.

Once there you'll see a link to"Enrichment Programs" where you will find a list of opportunities and information regarding the application process, cost, contact information, and more.
